Objective 1: To enhance my method of patient mental health assessment. Planned Activities: To examine at least 80 mentally challenged people during the 11-week practicum timeframe to advance my understanding of efficient methods. Mode of Assessment: Focused examination, which gives information on a particular body system linked to a patient’s difficulties, is the assessment method utilized to achieve the purpose. PRAC Course Outcome(s) Addressed:
- To recognize the necessary therapeutic contact with patients and establish professional limits in the workplace.
- To measure a person’s mental state and interpret the results.
- Create a list of suitable evidence-based techniques.
- Apply these approaches to clinical treatment,
- Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance management.
- Create expert plans that enhance patient care delivery.
- Examine the patient’s opinions to develop sufficient knowledge about care plans.
- Correctly adjust care for certain patients.
Part 3: Projected Timeline/Schedule
I plan to finish the 144 or 160 practicum hours (depending on the situation) in the timeframe/schedule listed below. I also know I should assess at least 80 patients throughout my practicum. I might not finish my practicum hours any sooner than eight weeks.
