Module 5 Assignment:

Subject Matter Experts and Data Collection- Your interview questions and summaries should be 1500-1750 words and should include at least three (3) citations. Clearly mark each heading to identify the interviews and summaries. Follow the guidelines for APA writing style. Be sure to use APA guidelines for referencing in an interview.

Choose a research topic that interests you. This can be any topic you would like to research either qualitatively or quantitatively. An example might be effectiveness of a tool for monitoring home administration of medications, however, you can choose any topic you like. Develop a tool for collecting data (be sure to keep it fairly simple in the interest of the project), find three subject matter experts and have them evaluate your data collection tool through interviews.

Include your interview questions and the summaries of the responses to those questions including the subject matter experts’ assessment of the effectiveness of the tool, any recommendations for change in the tool and describe how the tool will change based on the recommendations.

Assignment Expectations

Length: 1500 – 1750 words including questions and summaries of responses

Structure: Include a title page and reference page in APA style. These do not count towards the minimal word amount for this assignment.

References: Use the appropriate APA style in-text citations and references for all resources utilized to answer the questions. Include at least three (3) scholarly sources to support your claims.

Format: Save your assignment as a Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx).

Choose one research article that includes either physiological or psychological knowledge and discuss how the knowledge would be used to influence the healthcare paradigm.

Module 6 Assignment:

Successful Data Collection Tools – Develop a 15 slide PowerPoint presentation. Be thorough and include rational and references for your recommendations.

Using the tool you evaluated in the previous week. Develop a PowerPoint presentation sharing how the data collected in the tool is driven by physiological and psychological concepts. Address what the end goal of the healthcare paradigm will be with the data collected.

Additionally, because a good presentation has few words on the slides include a script with the verbiage you would say when presenting; script should be a minimum of 50 words per slide.
