Technology, Care Coordination, and Community Resources Considerations
The development in knowledge and technological advancement has rapidly changed the
scope of health care. The assistances of technology-based upkeep were obvious in numerous
parts, for instance screening, prearrangement valuations, combining and collecting the
information of patient, streamlining communications, and enhancing the treatment process. An
American citizen, Julia, whose age is fifty-five, was discussed in last assessment as a particular
case. She was suffering from hypertension. She has been feeling weakness, dizziness, nausea,
and sometimes chest pain. Julia's unhealthy life conduct has had a substantial impact on her
health. The quality of hypertension supervision may range substantially across cities and people.
Medical staff and patients’ negligence might cause severe complications like cardiovascular
problems and stroke. It is the medical staff and all community stakeholders' responsibility to
work in a team to handle the situation of hypertension and make the life of others better
(Drevenhorn, 2018).
Impact of Health Care Technology
Machine learning (ML) algorithms and other intellectual technologies are utilized in
medical settings as artificial intelligence (AI). AI is the capability of machines to reason, acquire,
and make selections or take actions in a way similar to that of humans.
These AI technologies can predict, diagnose, and advise treatment regimens for
hypertensive patients in a healthcare context. They can also discover significant relationships
across complex datasets to provide individualized therapy and care (Drexel University, 2021).
The accuracy of these AI models will keep rising as more health information is gathered
throughout the follow-up period. The decrease in salt intake, weight loss, moderate alcohol use,
and quitting smoking are non-pharmaceutical lifestyle changes that are beneficial in lowering
