Describe the results of the Work Environment Assessment you completed on your workplace
Workplace Environment Assessment Usually, it is crucial to assess workplace environment to help understand the behaviors of different individuals and conditions that may affect the performance of an organization in a given way. This paper will focus on discussing the Work Environment Assessment and provide a review of literature of a concept or theory considered to be relevant to the assessment. It will also provide recommendations of evidence-based strategies, which can be utilized to ensure best practices in the organization. Workplace Assessment Findings
From the assessment, it was evident that most employees are aware of the adverse consequences of incivility and unsociable behaviors on their performance hence showing that the workplace was very healthy. The organization had a 90% rating based on the assessment. The healthiness of the workplace makes it easy to identify unwanted behaviors in the nursing environment that may end up having long-term effects on the productivity of the workplace. The results depict that the issue of incivility is not widespread in the work environment hence suitable for patients and the nurses. The workplace protects its personnel against uncivil behavior and can freely talk about their experiences in such an environment. Ideally, the organization understands the impact of establishing meaningful dialogue for conflict resolution whenever problems arise (Griffin & Clark, 2014)
