Explain how Mei would benefit from the specialized instructional strategy described in part A and how this specialized instructional strategy will be used to do the following.
Due to Mei struggling with decoding and recognizing words which affect her
reading words at 15 words a minute, she would benefit from having a partner that
can model fluent reading. As the students read together, the stronger student can
help Mei in her struggled areas. This strategy can help Mei reach her IEP goal by
giving her the chance to be corrected by a peer and guidance of modeled reading.
Mrs. Patel can accomplish this instructional objective due to Mei gaining an
understanding of the reading which will help her with medial vowels and
consonant blends that will help her with solving word problems
