How state Board Nursing Practice Standards and/or Organizational or Governmental policies could affect a Quality of Care and Actions to Combat the Challenge of Diabetes among the African American Communities
According to Brunt and Russell (2018) the state board of nursing
practices plays an influential role in guiding nurses and other care providers
in promoting the quality and outcome of care given to African-American
communities facing diabetes. According to Brunt and Russell (2018) the first
standard (effective diagnosis is among the critical state board of nursing
practices promoting the safety of care for the identified families and
communities. At the same time, other standard nursing practice promoting
the quality and outcome of care for the community includes standards 2, 3,
4, 5, and 6 which include diagnosis, outcome identification, planning,
