Importance Of Education Degree In Poverty Reduction
Education is the pathway to achieving positive change in society. A command in a specific field of education is a prerequisite to the better practical application of the learned content in assisting the family and the entire nation. Poverty is a prevalent social issue in the modern era. Attaining a degree at Northcentral University is a successful endeavor since it requires competence, hard work, and determination. Ed. D Education Leadership Specialization Instructional Leadership major is a perfect leeway towards helping the community. A degree in Ed. D Education Leadership Specialization Instructional Leadership will be a prerequisite towards creating awareness on poverty and engaging in measures that can lead to its reduction.
An educated leader manages the resources of society perfectly. I will apply my leadership skills, such as transformational learned in the Ed. D Education Leadership Specialization Instructional Leadership to create a unified community where leaders can be the real change. A united nation or urban community will aim to assist everybody regardless of the difference I race, color, and literacy level (Majumder & Biswas, 2017). Convincing the leaders of an urban population to include everybody in the project and accept their decision will improve the level of trust in the community and the need to work together and realize a poverty-free society. I will propose leadership training to leaders in a specific urban community to aid them in understanding and applying proper leadership styles, such as transformational.
Women’s conduct in fertility decisions and improper family planning raises the poverty index. A woman who fails to heed to the family planning procedures and sire many children might be dangerous to the economy. Raising children in cases of low wages by women who receive less compensation from their jobs job is a determinant of an impoverished nation (Majumder & Biswas, 2017). I will create awareness on family planning by organizing counselling sessions in the community and engaging the leaders in the specific urban centre of my concern to sensitize the needs for planning. I will also join women movements that create awareness of fertility cases. Through the movement, I will have an opportunity to apply my leadership skills and convince women to control birth rates to align with the economic index. An awareness of the fertility rate and family planning will be a pathway towards the realization of the number of children that the society can flawlessly manage.
The perception that poor people share firm and predictable beliefs has been an obstruction towards the prevention of poverty cases. As a degree holder in Ed. D Education Leadership Specialization Instructional Leadership, I will engage in community awareness sessions that mainly dwell on the cultural beliefs of low-income urban communities. I will emphasize on the change in the perception by inviting several counsellors and inspirational speakers that will aid in creating a favorable judgment and encouragement to the poor community. Through an awareness, people will deconstruct the perception and engage in productive work such as community projects, educating the children with the little they have, and learning leadership and literacy skills that will, in turn, contribute to an understanding of perfect strategies of reducing poverty index.
