Importance of Internship
It Helps to Prepare One With Industrial Knowledge.
Whereas school knowledge is beneficial, an internship program can also help me put my skills into practice in relevant fields of study. This program is vital to every graduate as it prepares them for managerial tasks and big responsibilities in the future (Blau et al., 2020).
Internship training programs are best in relating experience in class to job market proficiency. Gaining knowledge in class is one thing, but undertaking those skills in the workplace and practicing them is an immense manner to discover various career channels and specialties that fit personal welfare.
Helps to Identify Interests
Internship experience can help me easily determine the career I want to pursue and give me a clear reason for pursuing it and the achievements I can achieve in that field. This experience will not only give students advantages over other applicants when making job applications, but it will also help them prepare for what to expect in the workplace and boost their confidence while working (Pusiran et al., 2020).
My undergraduate program is wide, and it may be hard for me to identify the particular career to pursue. Securing an internship program will help me explore and identify the area that will assist me in learning more about my interests and making successful choices about my profession.
