NURS FPX 4040 Assessment 4 Attempt 1 Informatics and Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators Evidence-Based Practice Guidelines for Nurses Established Using NSIs

Nursing-sensitive quality indicators are the way of establishing evidence-based guidelines for nurses to improve the outcomes and provide quality treatment to the patients. These standards greatly impact the performance constraints of the nurses by providing a national or state level comparison of data of various similar healthcare settings by NDNQI. The relation between outcomes, processes, and structure helps the nurses to develop an evidence-based plan that optimizes patient care and safety. The analysis of the key nursing quality indicators is the condition to improve the overall quality of the care provided to patients (Oner, et al., 2020).  These indicators are extremely crucial while defining patient-centered care and outcomes. The record of data using electronic tools, keeping a check on the number of patients arriving in the ambulatory care, maintaining the data for the provision of effective treatment timely, enhancing the patient care, and gaining the trust of the patients is ruled by the accurate use of nursing-sensitive quality indictor.

Conclusion

Let me conclude this discussion with the statement that the use of technology for launching electronic health record systems for gathering and monitoring the data and implementing the guidelines of NDNQI for enhanced treatment and prevention of adverse cases in our ambulatory setting is the highest priority. The data gathered is extremely crucial for the better performance of all the members of our team. Therefore, we all must abide by the organizational rules and take responsibility for our actions. The nurses are obligated to keep a proper track of data to ensure the performance according to nursing-sensitive quality indicators.
