Being a person who constantly met disabled people in my everyday life, I know how some people might argue that it is an expensive issue to make some adjustments for disabled people. This is the case because there may be additional costs incurred in some accommodations but on the long-run the positive impacts of inclusion and power prevail. In many instances, getting to places, receiving services and getting around can be made cheaper than what people actually use. Well, some people might even consider it so right to tell disabled persons to get used to the current world situation. What’s wrong with that ? To continue to deny an individual a full and inclusive existence simply due to a condition is wrong. Frederick and Shifrer (2018) note that individuals with disability should be given equal opportunities and support like anyone else. This is the area that our project is intended to satisfy in both.

Conclusion

In conclusion, it is challenging to develop a care coordination plan for a group of disabled people and requires timely planning, prefacing collaboration, and information sharing among various systems and healthcare providers. NURS FPX 6618 Assessment 1 plan seeks to ensure that every disabled person receives comprehensive and holistic care that tackles their individual needs in a bid for them to lead normal and healthy lives as any other person. It is to identify what the population needs in terms of their sick and ailing, to ensure there are effective communication channels for the participants, to understand who does what and who is responsible for what, and to consider how factors such as culture, social dynamics, and economic status influence the client outcome.
