1. Identify and discuss “red flags” of abuse and neglect that may be found in the assessment of a child or adult.

2. Reflect on your professional experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems, specifically pertaining to nursing documentation. Provide a discussion of pros and cons of EHR systems.

The final assignment will require students to perform a comprehensive head to toe health assessment. Students will be required to schedule an appointment time with course faculty and complete the assessment at the Health Science Center Campus. Please review the attached reference guides to help you prepare for your final head-to-toe assessment. Follow the specified assignment rubric.

Students who are no-call, no-show for their assessment checkoff, will receive a written warning and 5 points will be deducted from the total assessment assignment score (before averaging). Make up time for assessment check will be scheduled with the instructor.
